Why I do what I do
I have always found beauty in glass and have been amazed at how it has been created. I decided to take a course to see if I could possibly have the patience to create a piece as much as I had the patience to stare at a piece and notice all the details. Well, I fell in love with the creation of making glass art. It does take a lot of patience and one must enjoy working with a lot of heat! Working with glass has endless opportunities. There are so many different glass mediums and you can always collaborate mixed media within. It's an art that can be repetitive if that's what you choose or you can keep on creating new pieces all the time to expand more possibilities. It's an artform that can never be mastered. I will give many credit...yes there are AMAZING flameworkers out there, but there's always tricks and new techniques of the trade as others expand their minds. I love what I do.

Tell us more about when your artwork breaks. That sounds like a life lesson in the works.
I wish you had photo's of your works... I seen your wine bottle stoppers at the Pike Place Market yesterday and I will be coming back to buy a few for christmas gifts... They are beautiful!
